The HBT Ministry supports that purpose by being earthly examples of Romans 12:15 which admonishes us to … Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. Mission The Hospitality and Bereavement Ministry Team is a pillar that supports every facet of the NDCBF ministry purpose by creating an atmosphere of comfort and rejoicing at church related activities. Goals Our goal is to create an envioroment that demonstrates a standard of excellence and the love of God for greiving families, new members, Pre Members Training Alumni, guest and NDCBF family members. The team decorates, set-up and serves food, greets and mingles with the guests Prep Squad assists in creating an atmosphere by choosing appropriate decorations and strategically positioning them. This includes but is not limited to dishes for presenting a attractive display of food. Hosts/Hostesses welcome people to the event with a warm smile and mix and mingle as the event is going on responding to needs and questions. Servers ensure that food is served in a orderly fashion or any buffet tables are always adequately stocked with food and drink. Clean Up Team assists the NDCBF Facilities Staff to make sure the facility looks as good or better than the way we found it. Involvement Ministry Rep acts as a liaison between the Director of Assimilation and new people interested in being a part of the Hospitality and Bereavement Committee Team Team Leads make sure that each team is equipped to minister to the guests of the specific event and that everyone is aware to the tasks that need to be accomplished
