Children's Church The purpose of this ministry is to exalt the Savior, equip and encourage the children with doctrine for Christ-centered living and evangelize lost children through a worship experience geared to the needs and attention spans of a child.
Drawing from the large/small group hybrid approach to children's ministry, we begin in a group setting with prayer, songs and a lesson introduction. Then, we gather the children into their appropriate age group and take them on a “ride” through Bible narratives to engage their minds and hearts with the ultimate goal of bringing each child to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Services are held at 8:00AM (abbreviated service), 9:30AM and 11:30AM.
AWANA
The purpose of this ministry is to evangelize lost children and equip and encourage young disciples through scripture memorization and fun fellowship.
Our AWANA Club is a weekly outreach children's ministry for children ages 3 through the 6th grade. The name is taken from II Timothy 2:15 and literally means Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. All clubs meet weekly on Wednesday evenings during the school year from 6:30 to 8:30. AWANA is an international program and there are thousands of clubs in churches around the world. Nursery
The purpose of this ministry is to nurture and encourage babies, toddlers and their parents.
We believe that babies and toddlers should be embraced with Gods' loving touch while in our care. Music and Bible-centric visual stimulus are an integral part of our nursery ministry to babies. For our toddlers, we incorporate age-appropriate lessons and play time aimed at introducing key Biblical concepts. This ministry is for babies and toddlers from zero to confidently potty-trained.
Voice of Praise Children's Choir
The purpose of this ministry is to encourage children to exalt their Savior through song.
“ From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise…” Psalm 8:2 Children from age 4 to 12 are taught basic fundamentals of music, rhythm and song as they learn to sing praises to our most high God. The children sing during the 9:30 worship service on Second Sundays (except during the summer months). Practices are on the two Saturdays before the children sing.
Vacation Bible School
The purpose of this ministry is to evangelize lost children and equip and encourage young disciples to live in a way that glorifies God.
Each summer in early June we host Vacation Bible School. Our interactive, rotation-style VBS platform has proven to be one of the most effective ways to capture the attention and hearts of pre-school and elementary-aged children. We recruit a team of energetic servants that work together to present the gospel message using a variety of media. It is an experience that will have a permanent impact on each child's life!
Kids Across America Summer Camp
The purpose of this ministry is to evangelize lost children and equip and encourage young disciples and ministry leaders through challenging biblical training techniques and activities which are both physical and thought-provoking.
KAA is a week-long sports camp committed to reaching children and youth with the love and power of Jesus. It combines fun outdoor challenges in the hill country of Branson, MO and creative discipleship methods that appeal to urban children. Ask anyone who has participated…Your child will never be the same! For children and youth ages 10 through 18. Our camp is held the 4th week in June. A KAA Parent's Retreat is held on the campground over the Labor Day weekend so parents and interested parties can get a taste of camp life and enjoy a spiritually enriching time of refreshment.
