We are standing on the threshold of an incredible move of God. God has called us to the mission of being a world changing church. As we begin this journey toward being world changers, I believe there are fours keys to success. First, we must become people committed to unceasing prayer. We must understand and embrace the idea that prayer does not get us ready for the greater work…prayer is the greater work. Second, we must become people consumed by unquenchable passion. In other words, we must be like Jeremiah, who said that the word of God was just like a fire shut up in his bones.

Just as we must be committed to unceasing prayer and consumed by unquenchable passion, we must also become people called to an unambiguous purpose. In his book, The Purpose Driven Church, Rick Warren said, “a church’s health is determine by its sending capacity, not its seating capacity.” Our purpose is to impact the members of NDCBF so profoundly that they will in turn impact others, and we will eventually spread our impact across the state, across the nation and ultimately throught the entire world.

And finally, we must become people connected through unselfish participation. Each of us must sacrificially give of our time, our talent and our treasure as God moves among us to create this world change movement. It is one thing to stand on the sidelines and complain about what is wrong with the world. It is quite another to be apart of a God-ordained movement to set it right. Join us and become a "world changer".
