The nucleus of YAM (Young Adult Ministry) is to "close the gap" between youth, young adults and adulthood and keep students "connected" to the faith and church life.? Our philosophy of ministry is based on the idea of trans-generational truth. We believe that this takes place through serving in the home, local church and community. This philosophy is based on Deuteronomy 6, which provides the means by which biblical truth is disseminated throughout each generation.

Closing the Gap
The process of closing the gap within the young adult ministry is to develop creative avenues to keep those of young adult age engaged in the faith.

Creating Community
The idea of creating communitywith young adults is to provide an avenue whereby young adults can be free to express themselves in a community of faith.

Search and Rescue
This is the process whereby we continually seek out those of young adult age who have left the church to go to college or for any other reason.

Develop and Deploy
This process is based on the training of all young adults within the church in bibliology, apologetics, and Christian doctrine. When this process is completed, they will be deployed to various college campuses and missions.
