Christian Education Ministry Philosophy
Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone)—the divine framework by which the Christian Education & Equipping Ministry is governed. Through the observation, utilization, dissemination, and application of Christ’s divine precepts, individuals are informed and empowered through the Holy Spirit. The manifestation of which are transformed lives—demeanors and behaviors that are reflective of Christ. We endeavor to present every person complete in Christ.
As Associate Pastor of Christian Education & Equipping, Pastor Alexander oversees the Adult, Youth, Children, and all segments within the scope of these respective ministries. This includes the NDCBF Christian Architecture, Leadership Development, and Spiritual Formation Curricula. With the assistance of his wife Martha, who serves as Director, they are charged to ensure the accuracy and of efficiency of biblical doctrine as well as the spiritual growth and development of all congregants. Pastor Alexander further supports the Senior Pastor in the areas of teaching, training, and pastoral development.
Christian Education is a divine mandate and serves as a vital source to equip individuals to develop into mature Christians and enhance their overall walk with the Savior. The Christian Education ministry is one of discipleship, as such; it directly impacts the church’s mission to “Connect” to God~ others~ ministry~ and the lost as it equips the church to impact the world.
Pastor Alexander holds a Masters of Christian Education degree and a Masters of Biblical Studies degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. In addition, he holds several other degrees. Martha holds a Masters in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary.
