We are saddened by the loss of our friend and fellow laborer in the Faith;

Mama Gohn, Oh my goodness! Where do I begin. Mama Gohn was like Mayo Angelo when she spoke, she had everyone’s undivided attention. Mama G had a welcoming spirit, a beautiful spirit, that embraced anyone that came in contact with her. She has blessed my life with her friendship, wisdom, love, and just making me feel like a part of the family. I cherish the memories and forever love her.

"Mama" Gohn, as I called her, helped me get through a very trying period in my life with her wise understanding and powerful prayers. I will truly miss hearing her words of comfort that she frequently shared with me in our talks. She was an inspiration to me as well as one of the most powerful prayer warriors that God placed in my life's path. Her passing has place another void in my soul, but I know the emptiness will be filled when we meet again in God's heavenly house.

One of her children in Christ,

God didn't promise days without pain,  laughter without sorrow, sun without rain,
but HE did promise strength for the day,  comfort for the tears & light for the way
