Pastor David Lawson under your pastoral leadership NDCBF Angel Tree Ministry has served thousands in need.  Organizations included Oasis; Douglass Community; Urban Action; Evolution Academy; Girls Embracing Mothers; NDCBF Nursing Home Ministry; Center for Hope; Prison Ministry and Union Gospel Mission!   Under your watch, you allowed the NDCBF Angel the autonomy to grow from a seasonal ministry to servicing to those in need throughout the calendar year.

-Terri Lawrence

Pastor David, Even though I have known you for a short time, I am honored that I got to serve on staff together with you at NDCBF. I am grateful for our conversations about ministry and what being the church, and the hands and feet of Jesus mean as well as looks like. I am sure glad God allowed our paths to cross. :) God's best in this next chapter aka RETIREMENT!

-Chipo Makwakwa

Dear Pastor Lawson, I've truly enjoyed serving with you over the past several years. You have been a source of inspiration to me and I am honored to call you my friend. I know that God has amazing things in store for the next chapter in your life. Enjoy retirement/the next chapter.

-Love, peace and blessings, Danea Rouse and family

What's been kicking chicken?? Thought you'd like to hear that one more time!! Pastor Lawson, thanks for your awesomeness and for allowing the Adopt a School Ministry to serve, engage and touch the lives of students at our THREE Plano Schools. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you and appreciate the challenge you put in front of our team, What can we do to introduce people to Christ, how do we show the love of Christ to them and how can we help them grow in Christ. Thanks for your enthusiasm and I wish you all of God's Blessings on your "retirement"!

-Michelle - "Just Peachy"

Pastor Lawson. I have enjoyed working with you. You have been very supportive, imaginative, creative and committed to spreading the gospel outside of the church walls. I pray that where ever God leads you in your next phrase that the experience will be rich, rewarding full of growth and will continue to bring you closer to Him. While I will miss working with you I look forward to continuing the journey with you. In His service.

Pastor Lawson-Prayer, effort, and thought are words that come to mind when I think about you and the work that we have done together. A passion for Christ, a dedication to ministry, and a commitment to the task at hand are phrases that I think are applicable. I have benefited from your service to NDCBF and appreciate what you have done in using your gifts to glorify God. Thank you for your service! As you embark on the next season of your journey, I wish you the very best!! Clarence Miller P.S.- If you decide to take a few weeks to relax and enjoy, be sure that you are well armed (with a lot of Jesus) if you choose Jacksonville over Baltimore as a destination!!!

-Clarence Miller

-Levi Chriss Jr.

Pastor David Lawson There is no other faith-based non-profit organization in Dallas/Collin Counties that has benefited more than Oasis Center from your leadership, knowledge, and spirit. Your commitment extended from your leadership representing the church to your personal involvement on our advisory board. Personally, you have positioned yourself in my life as Paul did with Timothy. Ministry runs through your veins, so I wish you well in your new season.

-Michael Lee

Pastor Lawson, Whatever God has next for you, you will be up to the task! Keep your head lifted high. "Retirement" (notice the air quotes-smile) can be a lot of work. My family & I pray the best for you. God bless!

-Marcia L. Harris-Daniel

Thanks for many years of reflecting on the love of Jesus to all. It has been a pleasure.

-Randy Peters

Congratulations on your retirement Pastor Lawson! I have witnessed your impact to the ministry of NDCBF not only recently with Community Engagement, but over the years with Adult & Student ministries as well. Thank you for your tireless commitment to furthering the Kingdom Agenda during your time at NDCBF in whatever capacity you were called to. I hope this retirement doesn't mean we won't fellowship and worship together in the future (of course, that's been in short supply physically for all of us). However, if the Lord is physically moving you on then know that I will miss your presence among us, but will pray that He will continue to direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Thank you again for standing in the gap and providing much-needed leadership over the years. Be blessed!
