Upcoming Awana Events 



This year our children will celebrate Holy Week in a special way with a Resurrection Walk. Each child will relive through scripture and prayer the Resurrection Walk where they will be reflecting on the suffering and sacrifice that our Lord went through on Good Friday. Each child will receive a bag with symbols reminding us of Christ’s sacred love. Open to all children and youth 2 Years through 12th grade! Register is open now through February 28th.

AWANA, which stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed of II Timothy 2:15, is an international program with thousands of weekly outreach clubs in churches around the world. Our goal for the AWANA Ministry at NDCBF is to connect lost children with their Savior and help these young disciples grow in their faith through Scripture memorization, practical application and fun fellowship.

AWANA is open to all children from 2 years old through 12th grade. The program meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 PM starting the Wednesday after Labor Day and continues throughout the school year.

The club night includes:

  • Snack Time (additional fee)
  • Opening Ceremony
  • Game Time
  • Council (Bible Lesson) Time
  • Listening (Scripture recitation) Time


The AWANA Clubbers are divided into the following groups:


- PUGGLES (Coed Club), Potty trained 2-year-olds
- CUBBIES (Coed Club), Ages 3-4
- SPARKS (Coed Club), Grades K – 2

TRUTH & TRAINING (Grades 3 - 5)

-T&T Girls, Grades 3 -5
- T&T Boys, Grades 3 -5

24/7 (Grades 6 - 12)

- TREK (Coed Club), Grades 6-8
- JOURNEY (Coed Club), Grades 9- 12
