What is your favorite memory at NDCBF? A favorite memory at NDCBF would be when service was ending and we were leaving and one of the band players asked Khalib to come up and play the drums.  He was too scared and said no way. ??. He loves NDCBF. 

How has your faith in Christ grown in high school? He has become more matured in his faith and he is definitely a strong believer in God. He did not tolerate bullying in Highschool and that was very considerate of him.

 How has your faith in Christ grown in high school? From the very beginning of high school, Mr. Stan Shepherd was always on me, challenging me to think deeper than what I thought I knew to be fact. This helped me to grow in my faith and question what really matters in life rather than just the little things.

What are your plans after high school? Education/career  I plan to attend Indiana University to major in marketing. My ultimate career goal is to become an entrepreneur with multiple fashion and beauty companies dedicated to uplifting women of color and encouraging them to embrace their individuality. I would also like to give back to my community by starting a microloan organization that provides women of color with the finances and knowledge needed to start their own businesses.

What is your favorite memory at NDCBF? My favorite memory at NDCBF was volunteering in the Douglass community by delivering food to families and elderly in need. 

How has your faith in Christ grown in high school? My faith has strengthened tremendously. There were many times in high school when I felt I could only turn to God to help me overcome obstacles because He was in control of the outcome. My greatest worry came once I realized that the most stressful aspect about applying to college wasn't wondering if I got accepted or not. It was figuring out how I was going to pay for it! I slaved my way through high school and remained faithful that God would provide the financial means for me to attend college if that is what he wanted. Finally, God blessed me with multiple scholarships, including a full ride!
