2024 WORSHIP MINISTRY WORKSHOP

Join us for this year's Worship Ministry Workshop! At the workshop you will fellowship and connect with others who serve in worship ministry as you encounter the deeper meaning of true worship through the gifts God has given you. This year's workshop theme is the Heart of a TRUE Worshipper. Repentance - Obedience - Adoration. This year, Deejay and BreAna Whiting will return as special guest!

BreAna Whiting, a native of East Texas, was raised in a musical family and discovered her passion for worship leading at an early age, singing alongside her mother in their church. Married to Deejay for over a decade, they are proud parents to Addi (7), Jaida (4), and Judah (2). Deejay, also from East Texas, developed his musical talents as a drummer, pianist, and acoustic guitarist within his family’s church. United by their love for music and love for God, they found their calling in encouraging others through music and leading worship as a couple.  Together they have been leading for over 10 years. They lead worship at various venues, have released music on digital platforms, and co-authored the children’s book "Eli and The Good Shepherd." They also have a nonprofit called "Godlink," that is dedicated to providing essentials and education to children in Zambia. Through Godlink, they feed 928 children weekly. Learn more about their mission and support them at www.Godlink.org. Currently, they both serve at Rush Creek, where Deejay is the Student Pastor and BreAna serves as a worship leader.

ALL AGES AND ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOMED! No intimidation here, we are all here to share and learn!

The following objectives will be prioritized at the workshop:

  • Help equip Worship Ministry Teams with biblical foundations of worship and how it relates to their worship area.
  • Train those who serve in Worship Ministry Teams to become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit with their gifts to create atmospheres that are conducive for worship.
  • Connect individuals with others in the ministry for fellowship and new relationships to strengthen each other in their ministries (musicians, worship teams, AVL, and outside churches/ministries etc.).

Sessions will take place in the sanctuary, children's area, and youth area.

$25 regular admission (per person) | $15 for ages 12-17 (per person). Lunch will be provided.
