DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Position Summary
Responsible for developing a comprehensive program of Christian education for nursery through fifth grade in a multi-cultural church setting. This includes the development and implementation of the vision, strategy and tactical elements for all programs, activities and educational aspects related to Children’s Ministry at North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship, communicated through a comprehensive annual Children’s Ministry plan.
Major Responsibilities
- Directs the strategic planning, development and implementation of the Children’s ministry, and aligns the ministry with the vision and mission of the church.
- Serves as the subject matter expert with regard to children’s development issues and trends, and as an advocate for children.
- Educates the congregation regarding the needs of children and provides solutions to meet those needs in the local church and community.
- Develops, supports and guides the work of the Children’s Ministry Council in providing feedback, direction and an annual process of evaluating the vision and goals of the Children’s Ministry in serving the vision and mission of the church.
- Mentors and develops the Children’s Ministry staff and volunteers with the goal of developing their leadership skills.
- Access resources to develop Children’s Ministry programming, staff and lay leaders and seeks continuing education events and training opportunities.
- In conjunction with Christian Education, oversees the recruiting and training of teachers, facilitators and volunteers who work with students in all aspects of the Children’s Ministry and ensure adequate skill levels, volunteer support, and adult to children ratios.
- Serves as liaison between the church and other community organizations, people, and resources that relate to children and Children’s Ministries.
- Partners with Christian Education to coordinate curriculum for children with the adult ministries where appropriate.
- Ability to fully embrace the vision, values, and statement of faith of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship (NDCBF).
- Be a part of the worshiping community of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship on a regular basis (attending one of the worship services every week), taking part in the means of grace.
- Develops an annual budget and manages the disbursement of budgeted funds for Children’s Ministries within the guidelines of the approved budget and in adherence with the purchasing policies of the church.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Demonstrates high integrity working in a faith based organization and adheres to the guidelines, bylaws, and policies set forth by NDCBF.

LOGOS Academy Director
Position Summary
Responsible for the direct supervision of faculty and staff, the daily operations of the early childhood center and the implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures as they relate to the academy. Work closely with faculty and staff to foster an environment that achieves a climate of collaboration and academic excellence in a Christ-centered environment. Report directly to Board of Directors and work in partnership with a strong leadership team as well as with a passionate and committed faculty.
Major Responsibilities
- Promote and model the LOGOS Academy mission, vision, and values, and successfully implement current LOGOS Academy policies and procedures.
- Implement the vision of LOGOS Academy and provide effective leadership, inspiring and motivating those engaged in the activities of teaching and learning.
- Create a learning environment in which the resources of LOGOS Academy are effectively managed to secure the achievement of both staff and students.
- Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of faculty and staff, resources, and building facilities.
- Foster the growth of the student body through engagement and partnerships with the Plano community, including employers, current and prospective families, alumni, and the membership of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship.
- Develop and sustain an organizational structure which ensures the highest standards of effective functioning.
- Ensure the health and safety of the staff and students are fully adhered to through compliance with school policies and standards established by Texas Health & Human Services, accrediting agencies, and other regulatory bodies.
- Complete performance reviews of staff, and faculty reporting directly to the headmaster.
- Collaborate with the Executive Team, LOGOS Academy Board, providing information, objective advice, and support to enable the early childhood/school to effectively accomplish the LOGOS Academy mission.
- Implement and enforce the requirements, policies, and procedures designated for the headmaster in the Administrative Policy Handbook, Student Handbook, and the Crisis Management Manual.
- Facilitate activities and programs that cultivate the spiritual development of staff and students
- Ensure timely and effective communication with faculty, staff, and designated NDCBF staff representatives.
- Host monthly faculty meetings.

Financial Management Duties
- Delineate appropriate priorities for expenditure, allocating funds effectively within the context of the budget and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the LOGOS Academy Board to manage agreed budget expectations, ensuring effective administration and value is achieved.
- Support initiatives by executive leadership and the LOGOS Academy board to secure additional resources to enhance school operations.

Executive Pastor - Ministry Operations
SUMMARY
The role of the Executive Pastor-Ministry Operations is to assist the Senior Pastor in ensuring that the strategic ministry objectives of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship (NDCBF) are effectively and efficiently attained by church staff. This position oversees key ministry functions including, but not limited to: evangelism, discipleship, worship, media, children’s and student ministry, pastoral care, small groups and all other related ministry operations. This individual must be consistently known by pastors, staff, church leaders, members and visitors for their graciousness, helpfulness and spirited leadership in the management of God’s resources.
Major Responsibilities
- Lead the ministry staff and Servant Leaders in the establishment and ongoing direction of ministries that effectively support the church’s overall mission and implement a “best practices” approach.
- Assist the ministry staff in developing new ministry programs, as directed by the Holy Spirit to ensure NDCBF is appropriately responsive to identified needs and church growth.
- Monitor the pulse of the congregation through research and evaluation.
- Assist in facilitation of the annual strategic planning process including evaluation of ministry performance; review of mission, vision, and core values; development of key objectives and tactics; and establishment of annual goals.
- Ensure implementation of annual ministry goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership to the ministry staff and Servant Leaders in the design and implementation of annual ministry plans that must align to the NDCBF strategic plan.
- Build relationships between the church leadership and ministries that foster teamwork and effective open communication.
- Assist in the recruiting, hiring, performance reviews, and staff issue resolution for the ministry staff and Servant Leaders.
- Ensure that all church ministry programming is coordinated, reviewed and operating successfully.
- Establish and maintain a set of key performance measures (KPMs) that provide the Senior Pastor with ongoing visibility of the effectiveness of all functional ministries of the church.
- Teach in the absence of pastors, leaders, or teachers when required.

COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Communications Manager is responsible for all internal and external communications activities of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship (NDCBF). This individual will serve in a leadership role to: (1) unify and align communications; (2) partner with staff, church and ministry leaders in creating communication plans to mobilize their specific audiences to respond; (3) ensure high-quality and highest impact communications are created; (4) foster cross-communications between the Elders, staff, ministries, congregation and the community and (5) oversee anything members/guests read, touch, or click:
- Read would include any written messages communicated from or about NDCBF, whether in print or electronic form;
- Touch would include flyers, brochures, posters, mass mailings/postcards or anything else that represents the church or has the church logo on it in print form;
- Click would relate to weekly bulletins, newsletters, or any form of web or email-based technology, as well as social networking tools like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy/Planning/Branding:
- Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of strategic communications and digital campaigns that will support NDCBF’s vision (“To be salt and light to make disciples”) and increase the church’s visibility within the community;
- Own and manage the church’s brand/identity through advertising, public relations and traditional, electronic, and emerging media; ensure content is accurate and consistent with church policy and intent;
- Manage the communications of internal messaging and event promotion through tactical implementation of announcements, bulletins, flyers, digital promotions, social media, newsletters, ;
- Serve as the communications “gatekeeper”, ensuring communications requests are prioritized, completed on time (create a 6-12 month communications calendar) and on budget.
Content Production and Management:
- Work with staff, church and ministry leaders to define, develop and effectively communicate messages to church-wide and specific audiences;
- Write and edit communications messages for use in various mediums and audiences;
- Create and design graphics for sermon series, digital signage, sanctuary displays as required;
- Produce high-quality written and visual content for use across all of NDCBF platforms including social media, e-mail, web, print, photography and video, if applicable.
- Manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral including, but not limited to: newsletters, flyers, brochures, church app and NDCBF’s website.
Social Media:
- Serve as the main administrator and manager of all social media accounts;
- Cultivate engaging, meaningful, vision-oriented content for major social media networks including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram on a daily basis;
- Develop short-form video content for social media platforms
Website:
- Serve as the primary manager of NDCBF’s website content, keeping the website current and relevant in communicating the church’s vision, mission, core values, church-wide events, ministry events, sermon series, etc.;
- Ongoing enhancements and adjustments to the website platform and features;
- Keep ears open to stories of life-change within the church. Coordinating with AVL Technical Production Director to develop ways to creatively communicate those stories via video, interviews, newsletter, etc.
E-Mail Marketing:
- Write, copy and edit the NDBCF weekly newsletter; and manage the e-mail marketing database.
Community Outreach:
- Build good public relations with external organizations and the general public; network with other church communications teams;
- Represent NDCBF at outreach events when appropriate and as requested;
- Create and design collateral for upcoming events, signs for exterior display, etc. as required;
- Develop and maintain an effective strategy for obtaining media coverage of NDCBF events and programs as required;
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the annual communications/marketing budget;
- Recruit, lead and manage a team of communications ministry volunteers, contractors and vendors (i.e. writers, graphic designers, photographers, printers, etc.);
Mobile App:
- Serve as the main administrator of the mobile app and the developer accounts;
- Responsible for updating the content including, but not limited to, sermon notes, bulletin, videos, devotions, and managing the events calendar.
Live Stream:
- Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers for Live Stream Host on Facebook, YouTube, and Church Online;
- Manage ChurchStreaming.tv account and setup the streams for weekly services on Facebook, YouTube, and Church Online;
- Manage live stream during services to ensure the stream quality;
- Upload sermons to Vimeo, YouTube and mobile app weekly;
- Host live stream services and events.

EXPERIENCE:
- 3 – 5 years professional work in journalism, advertising, marketing, current communication technologies, or related field. Experience working in a church environment is preferred.
- Proven professional writing, editing and proofreading skills, including the flexibility to write in different styles for various audiences; must understand what it takes to communicate to both the church and the unchurched;
- Experienced in creating, organizing, planning, and implementing effective communications messages and strategies to church and community audiences; utilizing current media and emerging technologies (e. print, web, social media, etc.);
- Current on creative, communications and technological trends and looks for opportunities to use this information to more effectively communicate with the community and church family;
- Demonstrated experience and ability to effectively use basic graphic design principles, typography and photography to produce quality communications products;
- Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond to changing priorities based on deadlines and requests;
- Experienced in team management, and delegating and accomplishing tasks through others.
