What I Can Expect To Learn

Our Vision
A vision is a clear, common, compelling picture of God's future for this church as we believe it can and must be — We discuss our mission, core values, and pillars of discipleship.
Governance
It is important for us to be governed in the way that the Bible teaches. We discuss how NDCBF is governed, it's hierarchy structure, how leaders are chosen, decision making and more.
Doctrine
The review and outline of NDCBF's doctrines on various subjects like spiritual gifts, scriptures, Godhead, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, Salvation, the church and more.
Membership
Knowing the role of a church member is important, as it will establish expectations and guidelines for our attitudes towards our faith, church, family, and God.
Gift Assessment
God has given us all individual gifts so that we may serve as different parts of the body of Christ. Taking the gift assessment allows you to know where you can serve that best glorifies God.
Communications
The church has various ways to communicate and keep everyone connected. You'll learn about how we keep our members updated and how you can get plugged into the NDCBF community.
Ministries & Classes
Learn about the availability of ministries and classes we offer for NDCBF members. The goal of our ministries and classes is to address the spiritual development of each member from childhood to adulthood.
Member Care & Comfort
Find out how our Member Care and Comfort service provides physical, emotional, and spiritual assistance to the congregation.
Clusters
We are a small-big church with members from all throughout the DFW area. We've created clusters for our members to gather together and fellowship within their local communities. Learn how you can get connected into your local cluster.

Why does this matter?

New member orientation in a church matters for several reasons. Firstly, it provides newcomers with a deeper understanding of the church's beliefs, values, and mission. This knowledge helps them align themselves with the community and its spiritual goals. Secondly, orientation often covers practical information such as services, programs, and volunteer opportunities, empowering new members to actively participate and contribute. Additionally, it fosters connections with existing members, creating a sense of belonging and support within the church family. Ultimately, going through orientation enhances one's spiritual journey by equipping them to engage meaningfully in the church's life and purpose.

Family Life Meet & Greet

Family Life is a brief meet and greet gathering held on the first Sunday of every other month (following new members orientation that takes place on the first Saturday of every other month). The gathering takes place after morning worship upstairs in the mezzanine. It is a wonderful time to get to know your NDCBF family who also want to get to know you! Our Family Life team is here to walk with you in all seasons of life, whether married with children, married, single or just looking to connect. The 2025 Family Life schedule is as follows:

  • February 8
  • April 5
  • June 7
  • August 2
  • October 4
  • December 6
